The principal, Ms Kay Flynn has dedicated a lifetime to studying dancing and teaching professionally.
Ms Flynn trained with the Queensland Ballet Company, and gained overseas experience in the United States, and Covent Gardens Theatre, London.
She has also been involved in many musical theatre productions such as Oklahoma, Music Man, Showboat, Oliver.
Ms Flynn, and her own dance studios, have been fully registered with the Royal Academy of Dance, London, for over 25 years, offering tuition in Classical Ballet, contemporary, National Character, Pas de deux, Tap, Jazz, Modern, and Performance preparation. Ms Flynn’s professional affiliations include -

Ms Flynn is supported by a team of fully qualified teachers, who all hold Blue Cards for working with children, and who teach to exam level and according to the structured syllabus set by the following organizations -
Classical Ballet - Royal Academy of Dance, London.
Tap Glenn Wood Tap syllabus.
Jazz (Modern) Federal Australian Teachers of Dance.
We also teach - Contemporary, National Character, Pas De Deux, and Pointe Work.
These syllabuses are graded according to the students physical and mental age and their sophistication in dance increases as they grow.

Every year since inception, at least one student has been selected to attend the Australian Ballet or Queensland Ballet Junior Extension Training Programmers where sometimes only a total of 15 girls, or 5 boys are selected from all Queensland schools.
